Associate Professor at the University of Naples (Federico II) and Adjunct Professor at Stanford University.
After completing a PhD in Geological and Environmental Sciences at Stanford University, Andrea dedicated 20+ years to applied research on deep-marine sediments, integrated depositional sedimentary systems, and climate/mountain-building feedbacks, alongside extensive teaching focusing on sedimentary basins, tectonics, and energy resources. Over his career, he worked for Chevron and Statoil (now Equinor) where he helped to develop and organize more than 40 field and classroom training workshops. During his tenure in the industry, he worked on all aspects of the business, from small-scale reservoir management to large-scale exploration.
